On the 20th of August Rotary Brotherhood “Dipolis” send off Ms. Urtė as 2015-2016 season Rotary Youth Exchange student to Taiwan capital. A few days later “Dipolis” met Ms. Vivian, Taiwanese RYE student who came to Lithuania.

RC "Dipolis" delegated RYE participant already for the second time. For 2015-2016 season Ms. Urtė Petrulytė was selected for the studies, who left from Vilnius to Taiwanese capital Taipei on 20th of August. Numerous Team of Rotary Club “WU KONG” on August 21st met Ms. Urtė in Taipei airport. During a journey in Ms. Urtė met other exchange program students, who made her feel more comfortable and safer. After the planned “photo session” nine RYE students (two Turkish students, two French students, four representatives of Brazil and of course one from Lithuania) were invited for a dinner to taste exotic Asian food.

Ms. Vivian, the guest RYE student from Taiwan, came to Lithuania on August 26th and has been met by Rotarians Mr. Jonas Bložė and Mr. Ernestas Petrulis in Vilnius airport. Ms. Vivian has chosen Lithuania to visit as a country which in future life circumstances may not have an opportunity to visit. She plans to draw international experience in Lithuania, getting known better our country and culture; make new friends and develop her personality in multicultural environment. Taiwanese student got a unique opportunity to study in Vilnius Jesuit Gymnasium.
Ms. Vivian already met with a new RC “Dipolis” president Mr. Marius Plitninkas and other club members during the first 2015-2016 Rotary Year session. She even practised petanque game, while RC “Dipolis” brothers have been preparing for Rotary Olympics. During a mini presentation Taiwanese student introduced herself and her hobbies.

Rotary Youth Exchange as a program is one of the very priorities of Rotary International activities.
RC "Dipolis" brotherhood sincerely hopes that Ms. Vivian will gain a positive experience in Lithuania, will strengthen Lithuania and Taiwan Rotary clubs cooperation and spread the good news about Lithuania in Taiwan and all around the world. We do wish to Ms. Urtė to gain spectacular cross-cultural experiences, new flavours and unforgettable discoveries, by strengthening Lithuania's name in the global context.
